Dornan are currently recruiting an Accounts Payroll Specialist to work in our head office in Cork.

Roles and Responsibilities:
An Accounts Payable Specialist will be a key member of the Finance Department and will be responsible for the accurate and timely payment of suppliers and creditors throughout Ireland, UK and Europe.
- Ensure that all AP duties are carried out in accordance with the specific requirements of the Company
- Accuracy of Invoicing
- Processing invoices in an accurate and efficient manner
- Supporting Documentation & Payments
- Ensuring only invoices with the correct documentation are processed
- Control Procedures for Payments
- Ensuring all invoices are paid to all vendors within their credit terms
- Responsible and accountable for your ledger
- Accurate knowledge of the real time status of your ledger
- Perform and complete full monthly vendor statement reconciliations and credit requests with vendors.
- Liaise with Site Personnel and vendors alike to resolve queries in a timely manner
- Complying with reporting and policies within the department
- Ensure any issues / errors are reported to management immediately
- Complete any other general accounting duties as appropriate
Education, Experience & Skills:
- Minimum 1 years’ experience in a accounts payable role
- Experience with Microsoft Package, particularly Excel and Word
- Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills
