Dornan is now welcoming applications to our Electrical Engineering Apprenticeship Programme, in conjunction with TUS.

Dornan are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Mainland Europe, the Nordics and the UK. Dornan are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation.

This Apprenticeship Programme allows qualified Electricians and Electrical and Instrumentation Technicians to further their career and gain a Level 7 Degree in Industrial Engineering from TUS.

The first two years of the Programme is a mixture of campus-based learning and site-based learning, and the successful candidate will be a qualified engineer after two years, before joining the Dornan Graduate Programme.

While working and learning, the successful candidate will work as a trainee engineer within our site based and office-based Engineering teams.

Requirements:

  • Fully Qualified Electrician or Electrical and Instrumentation Technician
  • Ability to work with MS Office Suite
  • Flexibility on work location – must be flexible to work on projects in Ireland, the UK and Mainland Europe, as required
  • Commitment to a 5-year program - 2 years with TUS and 3 years post-qualification in the Dornan Graduate Programme
