Dornan are hiring a General Operative to work on a large project in Cork City.
Dornan are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK.
Dornan are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical.

Reporting to the Supervisor.
Overview of knowledge required:
- Detailed knowledge of the General Operative role
- Commercial understanding
- Health, Safety and Environmental systems
- Knowledge of the teams strengths and weaknesses
Roles and responsibilities:
- Assisting Trades
- Ensure adequate materials are available
- Uncrating and weathering equipment
- Fabrication of unistrut trays
- Install of cable trays and baskets
- Ensure work area is clean and tidy at all times
- Moving finished assets to storage
- To load and unload deliveries
Qualifications and experience
- Experience working on construction sites, electrical and pharmaceutical experience is an advantage
- Safepass and Manual Handling
- Full Driver's License
