Dornan is recruiting for Graduate CSA Engineers to be based on a large project in Belgium.
Dornan are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK. Dornan are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical.
The successful candidates will be enrolled in the Dornan Engineering Graduate Programme, this programme is designed to expose graduates to all facets of the role and develop a full appreciation for the construction project as a whole.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Set out engineering works from construction drawings and information provided by client.
- Set out engineering works from construction drawings and information provided by client.
- Check setting out of works for compliance with construction drawings and specifications.
- Work with electronic data received to produce working drawings.
- Survey and record as built information and present in electronic format the as built information.
- Preparing method statements and risk assessments (with construction team) for production activities
- Prepare, project schedules, material take offs.
- Keeping up to date the delivery schedule to control deliveries.
- Producing look ahead programs to assist production.
- Carrying out Quality Control through inspections and snagging
- Other duties as requested by your manager.
Qualifications:
- Relevant CSA Qualification/Certification
Experience/Skills:
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
Ability to prioritise workload.
Recognises own strengths and weaknesses and committed to ongoing development.
Acceptance of responsibility and accountability
Willingness to travel and work in a growing and rapidly changing environment
