Dornan are currently recruiting for a Telecoms Construction Manager to work on site on a hyperscale Data Centre in the beautiful Netherlands.

Reporting to the Project Manager, responsible for managing and coordinating all the workings at a job site including that of subcontractors, apprentices, and labourers.
As a key member of the team, the Construction Manager will be an exemplar ambassador for the company and its values; integrity, dependability, safety, pride, quality.
The successful candidate will join an already established team on the construction phase of this landmark project.
Overview of knowledge required:
Detailed knowledge of the Construction Manager role.
Commercial understanding.
Health, Safety and Environmental systems.
Knowledge of the team’s strengths and weaknesses.
Role and responsibilities:
Taking responsibility for health and safety of all site personnel.
Leads by example - sets, monitors, and enforces the standards of safety, and exemplary quality of work.
Manages all supervision & subcontractors within the work packages
Assume leadership on site.
Ensure that employees & subcontractors have the relevant training and expertise to carry out their work safely and professionally.
Manage the labour resources on site to ensure efficient working.
Ensure labour allocations are being completed accurately.
Ensure progress measures are submitted accurately and on time.
Liaise with commercial teams with application queries.
Maintain discipline on site, report any incidents and take action as appropriate.
Ensure all plant onsite maintained & kept secure.
Maintain cost effectiveness with all hired plant.
Reduce costs as far as possible.
Ensure all materials are checked before install and that they comply with the project specifications.
Assist in ensuring systems/Ares are handed over to the client on time and up to standard.
Effective Co-ordination with GC, 3rd party vendors & other subcontractors. Highlighting potential risks & constraints to the Project Manager.
