Dornan is recruiting for a qualified or part-qualified Mangement Accountant . The role is based in our Head office in Cork.
Dornan are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Europe and the UK. Dornan are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Power, Waste to Energy, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical.
The successful candidate will join our busy and dynamic finance team and will report to the Financial Accounting Manager in the delivery of financial aspects of the business.
Roles and responsibilities:
- Preparing quarterly management accounts
- Preparing monthly group cash flow
- Conducting internal audits across the group and reporting on same
- Liaising with external auditors
- Month-end accruals & prepayments
- All other duties as assigned to you by your manager
Experience and Education required:
- Previous experience working in practice or industry
- ACCA, CIMA or ACA qualified or part qualified working towards qualification
- Strong PC skills in particular excel
- Experience with Jet Reporting and Power BI would be a benefit
- Ability and willingness to work as part of a team
