Dornan are currently recruiting for a Part Qualified Accountant/Tax Professional to join a growing and dynamic Finance Team.
Dornan are a leading Mechanical, Electrical and Instrumentation contractor with projects in Ireland, Mainland Europe, the Nordics and the UK. Dornan are involved in projects across many sectors such as Pharmaceutical, Data Centre, Healthcare, Education, Commercial, and Power Generation.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Working closely with the Group Tax Manager to ensure tax compliance is maintained for all group companies. Duties will include but may not limited to the following:
- Ensuring VAT compliance across all group entities through timely preparation of returns and working with external advisers
- Supporting the Payroll Department, assisting with tax payments to tax agencies, pension providers etc
- Working with the Group Tax Manager by assisting with Corporation tax calculations and returns
- Assisting employees in relation to compliance with the Group Tax Protection Policy
- Assisting in other tax related matters and contributing to the Finance Team as required
- Ensure that professional training and personal development is kept up to date
Background Experience and Education & Skills:
- Previous experience working in practice or industry
- Part qualified ACCA, ACA, CPA or AITI or working towards qualification
- Strong IT skills, in particular Excel
- Ability to work as part of a team and possessing excellent communication skills
