Dornan are currently recruiting for a CSA Fitout Quality Inspector to work on site on a Data Centre project in Mainland Europe.
Reporting to the Project Quality Manager the QAQC CSA Inspector shall operate within the framework of the documented project Quality Management System which includes the Quality Plan, Inspection and Test Plans and supporting specifications, codes and standards to ensure the installed works are as per the approved design and project requirements.

Roles and responsibilities:
- Perform routine inspections of the quality of installations for compliance with Design, Specifications and Code requirements
- Conducts surveillance and walkdowns of the works and document non conforming elements of the works on the relevant project Quality system.
- Provide guidance to team and Subcontractors on CSA Quality.
- Act as Dornan Quality Point of Contact for all CSA matters with the Client team.
- Attend Quality Control (or quality control portion of weekly CSA constructing) meeting with the construction team during the life cycle of the project
- Coordinate required test, inspections and demonstrations with client or any other authority having jurisdiction
- Inspect materials arriving at the site to ensure conformance with the requirements of the Contract, Specification or Purchase Order
- Monitor the repair or reconstruction of rejected work and document corrective action and preventing action. Assist sub-contractors in the development of repair procedures.
- Co-ordinate with 3rd party inspection to ensure that all required testing has been performed and that acceptable results have been achieved
- Advise field staff of quality and deficiencies detected during “in-progress” inspection and assists and advises on any requirements and remedial actions
- Track and chase to closure open defects in line with the project schedule.
- Responsibility of Site Work Documentation of Conformance and Inspections for the entire project’s period
- Coordinate with the companies turn over team that the O&M manual etc. is always in line with the requirement, as specified in Contract
- Assist with the completion of required inspections and walkdowns related documentation with assigned certifier, design teams and subcontractors
- Prepare and issue Quality progress reports as required.
- Ensure First of a kind process is implemented
Qualifications Required:
- Relevant CSA Qualification/Certification
Experience/ Skills Required:
- Minimum of 5 years Construction experience preferably as a QAQC Inspector
- Fully conversant with industry codes and standards
- Ability to read and interpret Construction drawings
- Previous experience on Industrial construction project is desirable
- Excellent IT Skills essential
- Excellent communication and organisation skills essential
