Dornan Engineering are currently recruiting for a Senior HVAC Engineer to work on a new Data Centre project in Mainland Europe (Denmark).

Primary Roles and Responsibilities associated with the role:
Accountable for the procurement, installation, and handover of the HVAC package in accordance with the Design Team Project Specifications, Client Global Standards and relevant Statutory / Regulatory Standards.
Developing and maintaining relationships with Vendors, Sub-Contractors and Clients.
Attendance at site meetings with Sub-Contractors and Internal Management.
Monitoring of site installation Progress and the Preparation of weekly progress reports to the Project Manager & Construction Manager.
Development of Technical Submittals / Engineering Documentation (Engineering checklists, Engineering schedules etc) ensuring compliance with relevant Project Specifications and statutory regulations.
Preparation of Method Statements / Risk Assessments in conjunction with Construction team for HVAC works.
Ability to act as a mentor to Junior Engineers within the HVAC Project team.
Management of deliveries and materials in line with the Project Programme.
Raising Technical queries via Request for Information (RFI) process through thorough design review.
Familiarization with document management process and CDE systems (EIDA etc) & Identifying scope and schedule changes in accordance with Change Control Process
Working in collaboration with quality department for snagging of installation and completion of quality documentation.
Familiarization with HVAC Standards, CIBSE, ASHRAE Standards etc.
Knowledge of Building Services with experience in performing calculations (Pressure Drop Calculations, Heat Loss Calculations, Duct Sizing etc).
Promoting Dornan Engineering values and ensuring the realisation of company and project health, safety, environmental, quality and ethics, systems, policies and procedures
Qualifications and Experience Required:
- Degree or Trade qualified in a Mechanical / Building Services Engineering or related HVAC Discipline
- 5-8 Years’ experience in a similar role.
- Data Centre experience beneficial but not essential.
- Familiarization of Building Information Modelling software (i.e. Revit, Autodesk etc)
